How to Feel Better About Online Shopping

Who can pass up the beautiful gem stones of Brazil, or another skin clearing lotion from Thailand, even the amazing coffees of Jamaica.  No matter how you slice it, with the internet showing us everything that's out there, shopaholics are in big trouble....

I'll Use My Low Limit Credit Card Online...

".....that way I can't spend too much."  Then you see it out of the corner of your eye....the 'Buy Now with 1-click Button'....and somehow, Amazon's biobots have calculated exactly what you must buy, and by golly, that algorithm is picking stuff you really want!

You resist and decide to listen to the free music that comes with Amazon Prime(AD), and besides, you saved by not paying for the two day shipping on your last gift to yourself, but wait! There's a pair of diamond earrings(AD)  up in the corner that would look great on you,  and at least you can boast that you're done with Christmas shopping, right?

Is There Any Hope For Us?

Yes there is! You do have to be careful with expenditures in times like these, but when you have been, there is no need to feel guilty about a treat every now and then:

  • Look at all the money you will save on fuel,
  • and the extra serotonin and dopamine you'll release from Christmas packages coming every week of the year
  • you'll even reduce stress and time by not standing in department store lines!
  • If you're over 45, you probably forgot what you ordered and the surprise of revealing that item that you really want will feel great!  It doesn't get any better than that!

Last but not least, you can become an Amazon Associate and earn money on your own blog(AD) to help support your shopping habit.

Always look at the bright side of things!

Happy shopping!
